Here is where I document my preparations to  become a caregiver for seniors in need of a caregiver.

I got a book from the library called "Is Your Parent In Good Hands?" by Edward J, Carnot,Esq.

Essentially the book tells of the author's experience as his aging father becomes so psychologically dependent on his care giver that he allows her to take advantage of him financially. The author though a lawyer was unable to do much to stop the abuse because as he explains unless the parent is doing harm to himself or others he can't be interfered with. Doing economic harm to himself by giving away all his money does not count.
